I'm Danielle, the owner and main photographer behind Lillian's Lens Photography. Our approach is relaxed, natural and personal, combining genuine moments with elegant, timeless portraits that reflect who you are as a couple.
Based in Exmouth, Devon, we photograph weddings throughout Devon, the South West and across the UK, creating a beautiful record of your day that feels unmistakably yours.

You're in the right place, the first step is for us to have a chat about you and your day.
02. Ready to book?
Great! You will now be sent a contract with terms and conditions as well as any important information and a section for brief details of your day. Once signed and your deposit paid, you're all booked in. Yes it really is that simple!
03.You're booked in!
You can now contact me throughout your wedding journey to discuss anything you wish. However we will have a full consultation around one month before your day to go over all the details in full.
The Wedding Photography Experience
From our very first conversation, we want you to feel like you've got someone in your corner who genuinely cares about your wedding day.
We love getting to know our couples, hearing all about their plans and discovering those little details that make their celebration uniquely theirs. Whether you need advice on suppliers, help organising timings or just someone to reassure you when the nerves kick in, we're always happy to lend a hand.
And on the day itself? Well, we're not just there with a camera! we're your honorary bridesmaid, emergency seamstress, professional dress-fixer, occasional disaster solver and, yes, even your panty picker if the situation calls for it! Honestly, you'd be surprised what we carry around in our bag. Crochet hooks, scissors, a mini sewing kit — you name it, we've probably got it!
We're also complete softies. If you spot us crying during the speeches or getting emotional during your first dance, don't mind us. We just love love!
One of our favourite compliments is when couples tell us their guests thought we'd been friends for years. We love getting involved, having a laugh and making everyone feel at ease. By the end of the day, we hope you'll feel like you've had a friend alongside you, not just a photographer.
Because while we're there to capture your wedding, we're also there to help you enjoy every wonderful, chaotic, emotional moment of it.
Our Photography style
Editorial Elegance. Real Emotion. A Little Bit of Laughter.
We absolutely love the elegance of editorial wedding photography, but don't let those beautifully composed portraits fool you. We're not about making you stand around in stiff, awkward poses pretending you're in a magazine.
You know that fake Chandler smile from FRIENDS? As much as we love the show, that's exactly what we're trying to avoid!
Instead, we will give you little prompts, make a fool of ourselves if we have to, and probably have you laughing at each other rather than looking at the camera. It's those genuine reactions, the way you look at one another and the little moments in between that make the most beautiful photographs.
We will find the perfect light, choose a gorgeous backdrop and offer just enough guidance to bring everything together. The result? Photographs that look effortlessly editorial but feel completely natural.
We don't just want a photograph of you standing together. We want to capture the reason you're standing there together in the first place.
And trust me, even if you're convinced you're the most awkward person in front of a camera (We hear that all the time!), you might just surprise yourself with how much fun you have.
